Spain’s previous World Cup qualifier against Finland ended in a draw. That was an unexpected result. That draw brought Spain down in the Group I points table. Before that match, Spain was ahead of France on the basis of goal difference.

The midfielder of Manchester City, David Silva, has denied the reports that his new contract with City has a clause according to which if he wants to leave City for joining any Spanish club before the completion of his contract, he can do that. Silva’s contract with City has been extended for the next four years a few weeks back.

The Barcelona striker David Villa has said that he does not expect to hit top form immediately after his return to the first-team. The former has a striker was injured for the last eight months after breaking his tibia in the Club World Cup match in December.
